We made lamb yesterday for the holidays, and I thought of these photos on my old website. Why not post them here too? This Halal Cart Chicken over Rice is one of my favorite recipes and, great to make around the holidays or a celebration.

I used this recipe for the chicken and rice. I used chicken thighs instead of breast, and I grilled it vs. baked it. We baked it the first time, and it was good - but cmon! Grilling it makes it delicious.

The infamous white sauce… I used this recipe, and dare I say it’s…better than what you get at the cart?! I paired it with a sloppy cut tomato, cucumber, and red onion salad over a spring mix, some lamb we also grilled, and some hawt sauce.
