I admit, I am officially old enough to make my past my entire identity. Blogging, blasting early 2000’s indie music, and buying my teenage grails—the Isabel Marant Bekett sneakers. When fashion from the early 2000s became popular again, it was obvious that the resurgence of the blog era would follow. I could NOT get on board with wearing the same clothing from when I was 10 years old, but finally being able to score a lot of the stuff I wanted at 19? Sign me up.

On a side note, do we think J.Crew is going to make a comeback? J.Crew was a favorite of mine. My first job was at an outlet store when I was 18, and I loved using my discount in the main store. These shoes make me think about striped shirts, cargo parka jackets, and circle skirts—all things I want back in my wardrobe (again, my past is now my identity).
