HOLIDAYZ

I spent the holidays just outside of Cleveland with Kevin, my mom, and her husband. I was expecting a lot of snow and cold weather, but it was actually pretty nice for most of the trip. Kevin always comes here for the holidays, but we have to plan a visit in the spring or summer. Cleveland is small, but the waterfront areas are gorgeous. The small-town feeling makes it feel more relaxing and niche.

Still, it’s pretty popular though! We stopped by a bakery similar to Paris Baguette (but, in my opinion, much better) called Tous les Jours, and I was like… wow, Ohio has some gems. Then I looked it up and realized there are 135 locations, including one in Cherry Hill, lol.

Some highlights: visiting the Cleveland Museum of Art to see Renaissance to Runway, thrifting (obviously), seeing the Cavs play, all the great food we ate (catfish fingers, pho, hot pot, cheesecake!), taking photos of my mom for her business, and spending time with Kevin and Nathaniel :)

Another highlight was the Airbnb we stayed at. We were on the top floor of a triplex that had been converted from a single-family home (I think). While Kevin almost hit his head multiple times (lol), it was very cozy. The slightly creepy photos I took of the homes in the neighborhood while walking Nathaniel don’t do them justice. Kevin said I’ve lived in Philly too long, hehe, but the houses were older and charming, each with their own blueprint. I love driving through a neighborhood where no two homes are the same.
